Troubleshooting FAQ

Direct answers for common support questions about reminders, progress, quit dates, exports, cravings, privacy, and feature requests.

How do I contact Quit Smoking Tracker support?

Email support@syedshahbazhussain.com. If you are reporting an issue, include your Android version, device model, and a short description of what happened.

Why are reminders not working?

First check that reminders are enabled in the app and notification permission is allowed in Android settings. Battery saver, Do Not Disturb, or manufacturer background limits can also affect notifications.

How do I reset my progress?

Use the reset or delete option inside the app settings when you want to clear local progress. This action may remove your local tracking history, so review it carefully first.

Can I change my quit date?

Yes. Change your quit date if your smoke-free timer should start from a different date or time. Your displayed smoke-free duration and estimates may update after the change.

Can I export my data?

If an export or share feature exists in your app version, you choose where the exported data goes. Be careful when sharing journal entries or personal tracking history.

How do I log cravings?

Open the craving tracker and record the details that are useful to you, such as intensity, trigger, mood, note, date, time, and outcome.

Where is my app data stored?

For the current version, user progress is stored locally on the user’s device. No account is required for core tracking, and the app does not currently use a backend server.

How do I request a feature?

Send your suggestion to support@syedshahbazhussain.com. Include the feature idea, why it would help, and how you imagine using it in the app.

Can support give medical advice?

No. Quit Smoking Tracker support can help with app questions, but the app and website are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
